Lincoln Elementary Addition This project involved the addition of two preschool classrooms to the recently constructed Lincoln Elementary School. Fully funded through Natrona County School District's maintenance budget, the project was delivered via a design-build approach. Working within a strict budget constraint of $600,000 (all-inclusive), the team successfully designed and delivered the project under budget while meeting all programmatic and functional needs. The entire project was completed over the summer months, allowing for minimal disruption to ongoing school operations. A key design challenge was ensuring the addition blended seamlessly with the
existing facility - constructed only a few years earlier. The architectural response
focused on careful material and form matching to create the appearance that the
addition was part of the original build. This subtle integration reinforces the school's
cohesive identity while discreetly expanding its capacity and programs.
